Children's paranasal sinus computed tomography (PNSCT) images were analyzed to investigate the association between nasal septal deviation (SD) angle and the measurement of maxillary sinus volumes. Among young children aged 9 to 14, a reduction in bilateral maxillary sinus volumes was observed, but maxillary sinus volume within this cohort remained unaffected, as per the standard deviation. Despite this, for individuals aged 15 to 17, the ipsilateral maxillary sinus volume was smaller on the SD side; and, male participants had significantly larger ipsilateral and contralateral maxillary sinus volumes than female participants. Despite reports from earlier studies suggesting a rising prevalence of anemia within the United States, recent data have not been consistently forthcoming. The National Health and Nutrition Examination Surveys (1999-2020) were employed to determine the occurrence and patterns of anemia within the United States, examining differences based on demographic characteristics such as gender, age, race, and the proportion of household income to the poverty threshold. The presence of anemia was determined in accordance with the guidelines set by the World Health Organization. Survey-weighted prevalence ratios (PRs), raw and adjusted, for the entire population and subgroups categorized by gender, age, race, and HIPR, were determined through the use of generalized linear models. Using data from 356 U.S. women (25-35 years old) collected via CloudResearch's MTurk, we explored the factor structure and reliability of this measure, specifically for community samples of adult women, utilizing uIRMA data. Confirmatory factor analysis indicated a five-factor structure (She Asked For It, He Didn't Mean To, He Didn't Mean To [Intoxication], It Wasn't Really Rape, She Lied subscales) and exceptional internal consistency (r = .92) for the overall measure.
